Cleaning and Care Instructions:

After receiving the boas, it is recommended to pull them out of the PVC bag(s), preferably outdoors, to get rid of any debris formed during processing and shipping. The boas should then be hung for 48 to 72 hours before use, as the longer they are hung, the better they will look.

Feather boas are washable. To clean them, hand wash in warm water and soap, then rinse off the soap with cold water. Wipe off the boas with a towel or paper towels, and then use a blow dryer to finish drying and maintain their fluffiness.

All of the feather products have been professionally cleaned, steamed, and sanitized. If the strings on the ends of the boa are too long, they can be retied tightly as close as possible to the feathers, and the rest can be cut off without the boa falling apart.
