Caring for your feather boas is simple. After receiving them, it's best to pull them out of the PVC bag(s), preferably outdoors, to remove any debris that may have formed during processing and shipping. Then, hang the boas for 48 to 72 hours before use, as the longer they are hung, the better they will look.

Feather boas are also washable. To clean them, hand wash in warm water and soap, then rinse off the soap with cold water. Use a towel or paper towels to wipe off the excess water, and then finish drying the boas with a blow dryer to maintain their fluffy appearance. It's important to note that all of our feather products have been professionally cleaned, steamed, and sanitized.

If the strings on the ends of the boa are too long, you can easily retie them tightly as close as possible to the feathers and cut the rest off. This will not cause the boa to fall apart.
